Important safety notice for wallpapers and wall stickers in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR)

This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of wallpapers and wall stickers (including 3D soft PVC brick panels and children's growth charts). Due to the adhesives used, flammability of materials, possible fumes, and risk of detachment, it is essential to follow the instructions below to prevent injuries and damage.

Basic safety and handling principles

• Keep out of reach of children: There is a risk of suffocation by foil, swallowing small parts and torn pieces. The product is not a toy.
• Ventilation: Ventilate during and shortly after application; adhesives and PVC may temporarily release odors.
• Heat and fire: Do not place near heat sources, open flames, cooktops, radiators, or on very hot surfaces.
• Surfaces and substrate: Apply only to clean, dry, smooth, and solid walls; do not apply on damp, dusty, peeling, or freshly painted surfaces.

Proper and safe use

• Use as intended: Decorative cladding and interior decoration; 3D PVC panels provide limited impact cushioning and do not replace protective coverings.
• Compatibility test: Before full application, test on a small part of the wall; some paints, plasters, and wallpapers may be damaged or stained.
• Placement: Do not place within reach of cribs, beds, or areas with increased risk of pulling off. In bathrooms and kitchens, use only products with specified resistance to moisture and heat.
• Children’s growth charts: Self-adhesive “growth” charts are decorative; they do not guarantee accuracy for medical measurement.

Cleaning, maintenance, and storage

• Cleaning: Wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, alcohol, acetone, or abrasive agents.
• Maintenance: Regularly press down loose corners; replace damaged or cracked parts. Do not protect 3D PVC panels with sharp objects.
• Storage: Store flat in a dry and cool place; protect from bending, heat, and direct sunlight.

Specific warnings

• Wall damage: Removal may cause paint or wallpaper to peel off; remove slowly, possibly with gentle warming of the surface.
• Allergies and sensitive skin: If irritation occurs upon contact with adhesive, stop work and ventilate.

Disposal

• Safe disposal: Sort paper wallpapers according to local regulations; dispose of 3D PVC panels and films as plastic waste. Do not burn at home.

Incidents and contact

• In case of an incident (irritation, part falling off, wall damage), immediately stop using the product. Keep the product and proof of purchase for complaint processing.
